Bouillabaisse – Franschhoek's first seafood restaurant.
Having established the critically-acclaimed Klein Oliphantshoek, chef and owner Camil Haas, together with his sommellier wife Ingrid wanted a new challenge. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to eat at Klein Oliphantshoek would expect something a little different from Camil and Ingrid and that's exactly what you get with Bouillabaisse. They have introduced the concept of 'front cooking', whereby the kitchen is no longer tucked away out of sight, but becomes an integral part of the restaurant–a concept that they first introduced (on a smaller scale) at Klein Oliphantshoek.
They offer a selection of small and large taster dishes from which to choose in order to design your own menu.
The restaurant is open every day from 10am to 10pm. Closed on Sundays.
In addition to top champagnes being available by the glass, accompaniments such as fresh oysters and superb sashimi are always available. Fresh fish is delivered to Bouillabaisse six days a week, ensuring the best quality.
