Franschhoek Accommodation At Its Best

Franschhoek, Franschoek or Franshoek?

These are but three of the most common 'spellings' of the village name. Others include breaking the word into two, as in Fransche Hoek (which is the name of a new estate just outside the village), Franchoek and Franchhoek. Even many locals from Cape Town incorrectly spell the name as Franschoek. The correct spelling, Franschhoek, actually has two 'h' characters.
However, whether you use Franschhoek, Franschoek, Franshoek or any other spelling, the fact remains the same - it's a great place to visit.
